Fun Flats for Spring & Summer

Happy Sunday lovelies!  So, my bestie is pregnant, and a few days ago she texted me and asked me for suggestions of cute & comfy flats for her to wear throughout her pregnancy.  I immediately started scouring the internet, checking all my usual sites for "preggo approved" flats.  Aside from needing to be stylish & cute, they also need to be comfy since she works on her feet (nothing gives you blisters faster than bad flats),  and work well with many different outfit options.

I thought it would be fun to put together a blog post dedicated to Andrea (my BFF who's preggo) and to also showcase some fun flats in various price points that will transition well into Spring and Summer.

Chloé Scalloped Leather Ballet Flats

These Chloe flats are so simple & comfortable.  The scalloped detailing adds a feminine touch, and the neutral taupe color will integrate nicely into any wardrobe.  While this is an investment piece, these ballet flats are timeless and you'll have these beauties for a lifetime.

Sam Edelman Leighton Snake Flats

How cute are these delicate Sam Edelman flats?!  I love the teardrop cutout detailing, and the fun spring colors (they come in peach too!)  The snakeskin leather looks expensive but at $100, these are easy on your wallet :)

J.Crew Janey Jeweled Bow Flat

I'm in love with these J.Crew flats.  The cap toe design is timeless, but the jeweled bow is so trendy right now... très ladylike!

Chanel Cap-Toe Ballerina Flat

Speaking of ladylike, these Chanel ballerinas are the epitome of chic, and classiness.  I own these, and can attest to their class-factor.  I can be not showered, having a lazy-look-like-a-scrub kinda day, I put these pretties on and I'm instantly transformed into a fancy park ave princess....not really, but there is a certain elegance factor when wearing them.  And Chanel never goes out of style.

Madewell Sidewalk Skimmer in Suede

Oh, Madewell.  Leave it to you to design these suede cuties in every fun color under the sun, the fact that they're on sale is an added bonus!!

Alice + Olivia Dakota Embellished Ballet Flat

These flats are sexy simplicity.  An adjustable ankle strap and bow encrusted detailing will be sure to make a lasting impression.  Perfect to wear year round!

FYI, these are SOLD OUT almost everywhere.  I found them at Saks, and if you want them I would act pronto!

Sam Edelman Noah Flat

Another fun option from Sam Edelman.  These neutral flats are the perfect skimmer to carry you into summer.

Maria Sharapova for Cole Haan Ballet Flat

We all know Maria Sharapova as the blonde tennis babe.  I gotta give the Russian beauty props, she teamed up with Cole Haan + Nike to create the ultimate ballet flat.  The sleek cutouts are so on trend, and they come in a wide array of colors.  Did I mention Nike?  Nike Air technology....stop it!  Any of you chicas shopping for comfort, this is your shoe!

Nora Stripe Ballet Flats

Lastly, I chose this fun option from J.Crew because stripes are going to be everywhere this summer.  J.Crew honestly has the cutest flats, and you really can't go wrong with any style you choose.  They've updated the design of their flats and added a more supportive cushion for maximum comfort.  You really can't beat the price, $138 for an Italian made flat is great!

So, what do you girls think?  If you have a great ballet flat suggestion, I would love to hear it!  Please leave your comment below.

P.S. Don't forget to enter my Sephora Lip Gloss Sampler giveaway.  The drawing will be tomorrow at noon. You can enter here.
