We're Back From Italy! Part Due

In yesterdays post I shared with you the first round of pictures that I had captured on our wedding week in Italy.  While I'm beyond thrilled to share those pictures, I don't want to become one of those crazy ladies who shares wedding shots for days and days on end.  So today, I'll share the last few wedding related pictures, and also pictures from our last days in Tuscany and from the few days that we spent in Rome.  I also have the link to our wedding highlights video, which is amazing!  I must have watched this at least a dozen times over the weekend!  I can't believe that we get a longer version soon, because for me this is perfect!  It should really give you an idea of what a beautiful day it was for us :)

Next up for us is South Africa!  I'm not sure what to expect of Africa (and that nonstop 18 hour flight!), many say that its the most beautiful place on earth but others say that its a little scary so I have mixed feelings on it.  I know that I'm so excited to be on honeymoon with my hubby, and I'm even a little more excited that some of the lodges that we're staying at have no cell phone service, no wifi, and no tv's (ssshhhhhh don't tell Adam I'm excited about this!).  I think this is the one time in our lives where we deserve to really disconnect from the world and truly enjoy the company of each other while being surrounded by nature.

If anyone has suggestions on how to keep yourself occupied on a long haul flight, pleases let me know!

I hope that you enjoy the last of my pics from Italy.  It was by far the best experience of my life.

Ti amo Italia!

I absolutely LOVE the above picture taken by our Florist, Tommaso at La Rosa Canina Firenze.  This was our wedding monogram that we used on almost everything wedding related, two A's intertwined as one.  I can't wait to see the pictures that Jose Villa took of this :)

I'm not sure how to actually embed the wedding video on my can watch it by clicking here.  Video courtesy of Origami Videography.

Thanks so much for checking out my blog, I love your comments!

We're Back From Italy!! Part Uno

Bunogiorno lovers!  We just arrived back from our week abroad in Italia, and I must confess that its a little bittersweet being back home.  While its always nice to get settled back into the comforts of your own house, I truly miss our charming villa and the slow way of life in Toscana.  This was my third trip to Italy in a little over a year, and each time I visit I try to convince Adam that we NEED to buy a house and move there immediately.  If I could live anywhere on earth, it would be in Italy.  I absolutely love everything about it; the people, the language, culture, fashion, coffee, art, history, architecture, vino, the FOOD......oh my goodness, don't even get me started on the food!

We had about 20 of our closest friends and family stay with us in the 10 bedroom villa that we rented for the week.  Adam & I had various activities planned for each day leading up to our wedding as a way to keep our guests occupied throughout the weekend.  It was a really fun way for our guests to get to know each other & bond while partaking in Tuscan cooking classes, wine tastings, amazing dinners, and various other activities.  By the time our wedding day had arrived everyone was so close with one another and it truly made for a special, intimate experience for us.

I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures from our trip with you but I have so many that I'll need to split them up into a couple different posts.  I hope that you enjoy these pictures and that you can see through these photos what an unbelievable weekend this was for us!

These next few pictures I took from my photographers instagram since we don't any actual wedding day pictures yet.  Photo credits Jose Villa & Joel Serrato......

Tomorrow I'll post the rest of my pictures, as well as a small wedding highlight video :)  Please feel free to leave feedback & comments, I heart your comments!

This Week In Pics

Its Monday, and normally I post my 'This Week In Pics' on Fridays but I'm stressed, I'm exhausted, and I'm getting married in 6 days!  I will admit that the stress has gotten to me.  I thought that having a destination wedding would be stress free......not the case!  We leave for Italy in 2 short days and my To Do list is a mile long.  I hope you enjoy my delayed This Week In Pics post!

I'm off to run errands......Ciao, lovers!
