This is my favorite way to make avocado toast; simple ingredients with great flavor.
1 large, ripe avocado
1/2 lemon
Sea salt
Crushed red pepper flakes
Bread of your choice {I love Alvarado St. Bakery 'Sprouted Multi-Grain Bread' from Whole Foods in the frozen section}
Directions
Cut avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop the avocado out of the skin, and place in a small bowl.
Squeeze the lemon juice on top of the avocado and mash together with a fork {I like to leave mine a bit lumpy}.
Sprinkle in fresh ground sea salt, and red pepper flakes to suit your taste.
Spread on top of toast, top with one last sprinkle of salt and enjoy!

DeleteAHH. I LOVE avocado toast. Its like that firs time you make it when you're scrounging around in your fridge and you only find bread and avocados.. and you put the two together and it turns out to be so simple yet AMAZING. Salt and pepper add the extra hint of flavor, too. :)
