Hellooooo babes! We just arrived back from the island of Kauai, and it feel so great to be back! Being away always makes me appreciate our condo & our dogs {home}. We had such a relaxing vacay; when we arrived we had absolutely nothing planned except the idea of finishing our books, but being the type of people who are not able to just lay on a beach all day, we ended up doing quite a lot for the 5 days that we were on the island. Here's a few snapshots of our holiday:
|
I could not get enough of these: Mai Thai's + Pina Colada's...not the best for my waistline but hey its vacay! |
Wearing Sofia by Vix bikini {here} & Helen Kaminski raffia hat {here}
|
We snorkeled almost every day we were there. |
|
Highly recommend for great ice cream. |
|
Kona coffee ice cream w/ coconut + macadamia nuts = heaven. |
|
This sign was a little intimidating.... |
|
....but I ignored it and swam in Queens Bath anyways :) |
|
Everyone told us that The Dolphin was the best lunch on the North Shore. |
|
The fish tacos were honestly the best that I have ever had! |
Outfit deets: Stone Cold Fox floral romper {here} + Jimmy Choo Pape Wedge {old}
If you're planning a trip to Kauai, I'd highly recommend staying at the St. Regis Resort in Princeville. Its definitely not the nicest St. Regis property that we've stayed at, but it suits the laid back vibe of the island + the staff is SO friendly!
I had such a great time celebrating Adams birthday & creating amazing memories that I'll surely never forget! :)
Have any of you stayed in Kauai? Tell me about your experience! xx
What a vacay! wow are your pics amazing. Jelly!
ReplyDeletethanks so much! we had a blast :)
Deleteawww your pics look gorgeous and makes me want to go back! We stayed at the Hyatt in Kauia and loved it! xo
ReplyDeleteThanks hunn!! I heard that the Hyatt was really nice also {and supposedly has some great restaurants!} Kauai was so relaxing - exactly what we hoped for! xx
DeleteWe are heading there this summer. Cannot WAIT. Thanks for the blog and the pics--definitely want to see Queen's bath.
ReplyDeleteAlso, which helicopter tour did you take? We want to do that as well. Did you use Safari or Island helicopters? And where was the ginger margarita from--I. MUST. HAVE. IT.
ReplyDeleteHi Heather! I'm not sure what helicopter tour we took - the company was located very close to our hotel {St. Regis Princeville} about a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel. Hope that helps! As for the DELISH margarita, it was located in the Asian restaurant in our hotel as well :)
DeleteThanks so much! We'll definitely have to check that out!
DeleteAmazing, thank you for sharing.
