I posted my last "Recently Wearing" back in December, and you ladies seemed to really like it so I thought I'd post another version. As I've said before, my style is all about mixing high & low end pieces. I have absolutely no problem rocking my Birkin bag with a $30 dress! After all, it's not the price of them item that matters, it's how it makes you look + feel :) I also always try to link to more affordable options when possible for my babes on a budget. Lets get started...

A lot of you have been asking me about maternity items. I haven't purchased anything "maternity" yet, but have definitely been looking! I'm SUPER bloated right now {which my Dr. told me is very common in the first trimester} and in the past couple weeks, I've started to see the beginnings of a small bump although Adam & I are the only ones who notice this. I'm sure to everyone else I just look like I packed on the pounds over the holidays ;) So for this reason flowy tops and shift dresses that hide the burrito bump are my best friends lately lol. I haven't really done much shopping this past month just because I know I won't be able to enjoy anything I purchase for very long, but I have bought a few cute affordable flowy dresses that I think will work well throughout most of my pregnancy and I thought I'd share them with you.
I love that cute spring/summer dresses are finally making there way back to stores! What have you ladies been purchasing lately?
Ugh sorry to hear you aren't feeling too great - hoping the 2nd trimester is easier for you!! I love your style and can't wait to see how you dress the bump!! xo, Biana - BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteThanks Biana! I hope so too! I feel so bad for my poor husband, I'm sure I am a miserable hag to be around right now lol!
DeleteLove love love your blog! Congrats on the new baby, wish you all the best.
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet! Thank you for your readership and for taking the time to comment! xoxo
DeleteI could easily wear all these looks......if only I had a bigger budget haha! And I love Downton Abby, it's a guilty pleasure of mine.
ReplyDeleteIt's the BEST! My mother got me hooked on it, and now I'm almost caught up on Season 5 :)
DeleteLove your style! New follower here!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading and taking the time to comment! xx
DeleteDid you size up for your bump in the stripe scoop back dress? Or is it super stretchy? Love all your looks as usual!
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel! I went with my normal size in this dress. I had read reviews on another site that said that this dress runs big and it definitely is loosely fitted so I'm glad that I went with a size S. The other 3 dresses I sized up with a medium. Hope that helps :)
DeleteLooking perfect, mama!! Happy to hear you got some meds to take when you are dying - they really do help, but I'm with you on using them sparingly! I hope you start to feel better soon - trust me, it gets better!! xx <3
ReplyDeletethanks babe! xoxo
