Both leather slip ons feature a faux snakeskin pattern in a girly pale dusty pink color that's really fun for summer. The only major difference that I can spot right away {besides the $140 price difference} is that the platform appears to be taller on the Gap version. For $140 cheaper, I could deal with a half inch taller platform! :)
I do have these particular Joie sneakers, and LOVE them {they go with everything!}, however if I had seen Gap's version first I may have rethought that purchase....
The question of the day is which version do you prefer? Would you save or splurge?
That is almost insane how alike they are!! I sort of like the more muted blush of the Joie ones - but when you have a $140 savings, sometimes it doesn't even matter!
ReplyDeleteRight!!?? You could buy the Gap version + a pair of nice designer denim skinnies for the price of Joie!
DeleteI love the Joie sole (have to admit I like those better), BUT the price difference is pretty significant for how similar they are! Either way, love the blush! Xx
ReplyDeleteYes! Love the blush color!
DeleteTotally save! I could deal with the extra platform as well :)
ReplyDeleteRight?! For the amount you save who cares about the platform!
DeleteOn a shoe like this, I totally go for the inexpensive version. I'd rather splurge on boots or pumps that will last longer (And look cuter!)
ReplyDeleteGreat point, Jen! I normally like to save my big splurges for handbags & classic shoes that will last for years & years :)
