Color Crush: Blush Pink

I was feeling a little girly this weekend and found myself gravitating towards the soft, feminine color of blush pink.  I think when worn correctly {and in small doses}, blush pink can be very chic.  I love to pair shades of pink with nudes & other neutral colors such as whites, tans, and grays.  Here's a few things that caught my eye over the weekend while doing a bit of online shopping....

Neutral Spring Cravings

Thank goodness stores are starting to carry more warm weather clothes!  Out with the bulky sweaters, and in with the cute dresses & summer sandals!  If you know me, you know that I love my neutrals and since Spring is right around the corner, here are a few things that caught my eye this weekend while doing a bit of online shopping.

OOTD - Casual Jeans + Tee

While I love getting dressed up and wearing fancy schmancy clothes, I truly am a jeans + tee shirt gal at heart {chalk it up to growing up in the Pacific Northwest!}.

Lately, I am loving printed tees - especially this linen 'Merci' tee that I purchased from J.Crew last week.  It certainly adds a little bit of je ne sais quoi to this casual outfit :)  I paired my new tee with my favorite distressed rag & bone skinnies {that I practically LIVE in}, my Chanel ballet flats, a messy ponytail + a girly pink lipgloss.

Fall Fashion For Warmer Climates

It's not exactly a secret that Autumn is basically non existent here in South Florida.  Still that doesn't deter me from enjoying some of my favorite sweater weather pieces. 

While I would love to wear this outfit with leggings + riding boots, I would be sweltering!  I quickly ditched the idea of black leggings, and paired my oversized cardigan with my favorite black denim shorts instead.   I wanted to keep this look more "Fall" so I opted against wedges, and went with ankle boots instead.  The cute black wool hat pulls double duty as it finishes off my look plus hides my haven't-washed-my-hair-in-three-days roots :)

All it takes is a few clever compromises, and I have a total Fall-worthy outfit that's appropriate for our warmer weather!

Sweater Weather

Hi ladies!  I've been seeing so many pictures on instagram of everybody rocking their cozy Fall sweaters + boots and I'm not gonna lie...I'm totally jealous!  More than ever this year I'm craving sweater weather.  I have so many cute sweaters, jackets, and booties that are just sitting in my closet waiting for the temps to drop about 10 degrees more {since anything below 70 degrees feels freeeezing to us in Miami!}.

In the meantime, I wanted to show you a look that I wore when we were visiting my family in Washington state a few weeks ago.  The temps were in the mid 50's which meant an excuse to take a selfie in a sweater at my moms house SWEATER WEATHER!! ;)

I love the oversized length of this boxy sweater, especially when paired with leggings - super cute + flattering.

As I mentioned above, the leggings I'm wearing are very expensive, but they are by far the most comfy leggings I've ever owned.  

Lastly, if you're on the fence about investing in a pair of Rag & Bone boots, definitely do it.  I've owned mine for about 2 years, and while it makes me a bit sad to see everyone wearing them these days, I can definitely understand why.  The quality of the boots is amazing, and they age so beautifully.  Definitely an investment piece, but you'll own them for years to come! xx

Boyfriend Jeans

Hi girls!  I did a little lot of shopping over the weekend {ughh, I need to put myself on a shopping diet} and I wanted to share with you the cutest distressed boyfriend jeans that I picked up at Zara.  I absolutely love how these fit me; loose & slouchy but not frumpy {they're even better than my Current/Elliott boyfie jeans} and of course, you gotta love Zara's price! 

I paired mine with a floral cotton tee from J.Crew, pink-ish Jessica Simpson wedges that I bought ages ago, and a matching belt {J.Crew / old}.

Such a cute laid back look for running errands on the weekend :)
